The Entropy Hot Dog Suite (2004) UMB011

The name on the cover says "Wet Shoelaces," which is technically Allen Bailey and Steve Gregory, but in reality this music was created in collaboration with a bunch of great people. On August 16, 2003, we hosted an all-day recording session. The participants, besides ourselves, were Jeff "Bear" Bengston, Chris Flynn, Funkmaster J, and Danu "Patches" Kelly, Astara, Poohzen Dragonbear, and Steve Zone.  We set the parameters for several improvisational pieces, and simply rolled tape for several hours. The resulting recordings were then treated as "raw material," to be edited, remixed, overdubbed upon, and otherwise disassembled and/or reassembled as we saw fit. Many long hours were spent in preperation. The resulting monstrosity?  The Entropy Hot Dog Suite. Because Entropy is a Law of the Universe. And a Hot Dog is a Tasty Snack.
